Tamar Estine Braxton is an American singer and television personality. She was born on March 17, 1977.Braxton started her career as a founding member of The Braxtons, an R&B singing group she created with her sisters in 1990. The Braxtons dissolved shortly after releasing their debut album, So Many Ways, in 1996. Her self-titled debut album was published by DreamWorks Records in 2000.
