Terry Brooks Bio and Career:
American fantasy author Terence Dean Brooks was born on January 8, 1944. He mostly writes epic fantasy, although he has also authored two novelizations of films. Throughout his literary career, he has produced 23 New York Times bestsellers, and his works have been printed in over 25 million copies. He is one of the best-selling fantasy authors currently working. Brooks spent a significant portion of his life in the small Midwestern town of Sterling, Illinois, where he was born. Before dedicating himself to writing full-time, he worked as an attorney.
