Luca is a computer-animated coming-of-age fantasy film released in 2021 by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Enrico Casarosa in his feature-length directorial debut directed the film, which was written by Jesse Andrews and Mike Jones from a storey by Casarosa, Andrews, and Simon Stephenson and produced by Andrea Warren.
Giulia teaches Luca about the school, and the two become friends because they both enjoy learning, particularly about astronomy. Alberto is envious of Luca and Giulia’s blossoming friendship. They flee Ercole, who now intends to kill them and collect the bounty money, but Giulia assists them by colliding her bike with Ercole’s, injuring herself in the process. Luca and Alberto return to assist her, eventually standing up to Ercole. Massimo, who reveals that the boys are his friends, defends them from Ercole and the other fishermen. He also mentions the fact that they have crossed the finish line and won the race. Other disguised sea monsters, including Luca’s family, appear and are warmly welcomed by the townspeople. When Ercole refuses to accept the changes, his henchmen Ciccio and Guido, tired of his abuse and insults, throw him into the fountain.
