Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley born 10 April 1992)is an English actress best known for portraying Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy The Force Awakens (2015). She also played Ophelia in the romance drama Ophelia (2018), performed in the mystery film Murder on the Orient Express (2017), and voiced Peter Rabbit in the animation picture Peter Rabbit (2018).
Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley was born in the London borough of Westminster on April 10, 1992, and grew up in Maida Vale. She is the youngest of three daughters born to photographer Christopher Ridley and Louise (née Fawkner-Corbett), who works in bank internal communications. Kika Rose and Poppy Sophia are her older sisters, and she also has two older half-sisters.
The Fawkner-Corbetts, her mother’s family, were landed gentry with military and medical backgrounds.
